Team FAST is an ambitious, multidisciplinary student team from the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) that stands for sustainability and innovation. The Team consists of over 30 students from the TU/e and Fontys Eindhoven.
The Team was founded in September 2015, after having won the Brains Award 2015, to kick-start our idea. Our idea came from an Honors project during the academic year 2014-2015. During this Honours project, we built a very small model car that ran on formic acid. After winning the Brains Award, we were motivated to fulfil our ambition; get this new technology out of the lab and apply it on a life-sized object. Our eyes are set on the tranportation sector.
FAST stands for Formic Acid Sustainable Transport. We think that Hydrozine has the potential to make transport sustainable in the near future.
